Every year, the shift into cooler weather comes alongside a shift into a cooler box office lineup: fewer billion-dollar blockbusters, fewer on-screen explosions, and a general trend toward less slashing, crashing action and more intense emotional action. The one thing that really heats up at the box office during the fall and winter season is the awards race: the last quarter of the year is a time for Oscar-bait projects and intense awards campaigning.  With December 2018, we move on to new Spider-Man Miles Morales, James Cameron’s return to filmmaking with  Alita: Battle Angel , a  Transformers  spinoff that feels like a weird fit for the holidays, and Mary Poppins’ return to London.   This isn’t a comprehensive list of releases. We’re focusing primarily on titles of particular interest to  Verge  readers, with a tongue-in-cheek consideration of what these films have to say about the future of film, awards season, or the world we live in. BUMBLEBEE Full Movie online 2018 HD - Watch Transformers Series on Cuckoo Bumblebee contains an explanation for an apparent plot hole from Transformers: The Last Knight: why is Bee a newcomer on Earth who doesn't remember fighting Nazis during World War II? Director Travis Knight's film is a solo adventure starring the heroic yellow Autobot, which is set in 1987 California. Bee is discovered by an 18-year-old woman named Charlie Watson (Academy Award-nominee Hailee Steinfeld) in a junkyard and the two strike up a friendship as Decepticons and the government agency Sector 7 hunt the missing Autobot. However, by the time he meets Charlie, Bee has lost his memory. Given how all of the Transformers in Bumblebee are in their beloved Generation-1 designs, many fans suspect Bee's solo adventure is actually a soft reboot in disguise. Bumblebee is a decidedly more character-driven movie with fewer Transformers at its core than the five overblown spectacles Michael Bay dir...

I Am Paul Walker (2018) Documentary | 11 August 2018 (USA) Storyline Documentary examining the life of the late actor Paul Walker. User Reviews Coming to Cinemas for a limited release this friday in Australia, I Am Paul Walker takes a look at the life of the Fast & Furious actor through the lens of his family & close friends. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this film, I myself was a low key fan of Paul Walker and the Fast & Furious films, and I really thought that he was succeeding at finding more interesting roles before he tragically passed away a few years ago. I ended up quite liking this documentary, mainly because it focuses more on Walker’s upbringing and then struggles from the excessive fame he obtained after the Fast & Furious films by mainly interviewing family members & close friends instead of co-stars. The only exception to this is Tyrese Gibson who provides a nice balance without taking up an overwhelming part of the film, this ...
